Goals of the first week

In the first week you are going to learn the basics of TYPO3. After this week the following points should be clear for you:

Which steps are necessary to run a TYPO3 web site?
How do I include my graphic design?
Should I work directly on the web server or on a local machine?
How is the TYPO3 backend working?
How can I create, modify or delete pages?
Which are the basic steps with the configuration language TYPO3 to build the page?
